Help with Morris Knife pull pull setup
I have my new MORRIS knife pull pull rudder setup and when the throw is 100 percent in one way the other cable is loose and has slack. I have had two other pull pull setups on Extra 300 and they were tight and no slack in the wires when actuated. If need to know if this is normal let me before I crimp the wires. I havent setup the elevator yet however it would follow this is the same situation. Any Morris the knife owners like Tattoo, TheKat or Stomper out there tonight? Any others?

Help with Morris Knife pull pull setup
dickj,
i have the same thing ( goes slack on one cable) with my knife....i have about 100 flights on mine ...no problem....at 1st i worried about it, but it seems to work just fine.
i think it has something to do with the geometry of how the cables are run...one not being square to the output arm...but i'm not sure....maybe one of the other guys will have a better explanation.

Knife
The slack comes from having a greater distance from the center of the servo to the hole on the servo arm, as compared to the distance of the hinge line to the control horn. This is not a problem crimp the ends and go fly. Tom
