I was just going thru some of my old pics and I thought it would be interesting to to have a thread showing all of the RC's that have gotten us to where we are now. I have only been in the hobby for a few years so I haven't had any thing really old. But I have taken pics of every RC I have owned so far so here are a few pics.

when I was a little kid I had this Radio Shack 4x4 solid chassis monster truck. That thing was slow as crap, but in all honesty, it's what got me into RC.

When I was tired of crawling over cinder blocks at snail pace, I saved up my allowance for a Tyco Assassin, took the body off of it, and put the radio shack 4x4 truck body on it. This is what got me into customizing.

Got a paper route when I was 12, and got a Traxxas Rustler one of the first years they were out. I don't think an RC vehicle can get beat on like I beat that thing. One day the chassis cracked. I bought a new one, but instead of throwing out the old one, I went out to the garage and found some angle brackets, cut the chassis with a chop saw, and extended it using the angle brackets and a few other flat pieces of metal. I made my first ever set of ABS pipe tires, and took the body from my little brother's huge department store RC Corvette, and put it on the chassis for my first ever RC drift car. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU 2WD RC DRIFTING CAN'T BE DONE! It just takes patience.

That thing got so beat to crap, and it was held together with one too many tubes of JB weld and other crap, that I finally retired it in 1999.

Then I got my driver's license and stayed away from the RC scene until I got back into it about 4 years ago. So now I have a Losi Mini T that's pretty much stock, an XL-5 Stampede, and a Tamiya TT-01d that's been heavily modified into a rally car.

i started about 2 years ago with a hpi firestorm(gone)
i learned on this one and kept it about 6-7 months but i got tired of 2wd and not enought ground clearance


sold it and got a team losi aftershock, kept it stock for about 6-7 months then upgraded it to LST2 spec,(still have it)

then i bought a electric XL-1 rustler for my girlfriend, ESC lasted 1 battery pack, upgraded to brushless,(still have it)

and during the past summer i built a LST XXL parts by parts that i won on ebay for almost nothing(i lost track but somewhere around 500$cnd)(still have it)

I have a losi speed t, everything else flies, sometimes the speed t flies too.

naw, i just get bored with a car and find some reason to sell it and get something different.
plus, alot of my cars i was able to sell for more than i paid for them!
some, like the volvo 740 turbo and 91 civic HB I modded and supped them up. i like to customize any car.
i also had a 96 olds ciera(forgot to list) which i put a 56 chevy belair hood ornament on! looked pretty crazy.
