Default New old RC question.

As of yesterday I was "given" an old RC monster truck. The body has Black Foot on it. Not sure if that is the name of it or not. Anyways, it has some broken parts and all of that. I was thinking of putting my old Traxxas Rustler brushed motor and speed control in it. It has Futaba Radio, receiver, and servos. It has 2 servos. One for steering and one for the mechanical speed control. Haven't seen one of those in many, many years. I just want to know if this thing is salvageable or if there are any parts for it and if any one has ever heard of it. Figured I would ask around here first. It doesn't even have a battery. So I will have to pick up one. Thanks. I would like to get this running soon. I will give it to my daughter to play with. I've noticed that one of the rear and front shock mounts are broken. I would need those first and a tire an rim. Missing one. I will get pics tonight and post them up later. Sure could use some help with this one. Thanks.

Why yes it does look like that. No, I haven't taken any pics of it yet. I will this evening. I hope it is salvageable. I will need some parts for it. What class is this vehicle? Is it considered a monster truck or crawler? I have to clean it off first. It's dirty! If it is salvageable, where do I go look for parts for it?

Your best bet for Blackfoot parts is eBay.

Ok as promised only a couple of days late. This is what was given to us. I will need some parts for it. If anyone has any or knows of where I can get some. One of the front shock mounts and rear shock mounts is broken. I'll post pics of them later. I have to leave now. Enjoy!

You can completely restore that thing for under $50 with ebay parts.

LOL. It was given to me like this. I am unable to find any parts on Ebay. I don't think it needs much. I have some Traxxas motors and speed controls I can use on it. If they will work. Looks like it will. What shape battery goes into it? I really would like to get it running soon. I'm 1 R.C. short right now.

They take just a standard six cell pack, and you should not have any problems finding parts for them on eBay
