Default Installing An ARM-02 Recoil Blocker

Friends,
Have just installed an ARM-02 module to prevent recoil each time the cannon is fired. I took
these steps because when the cannon is fired you cannot see the barrel recoil due to the tank motion. The module comes with three attached leads, one for B+,another for B-.and one for signal.
These wires are soldered under the RX-18 board to points called out in the instructions.I picked up the B+ and B- by visually looking at the artwork where the battery power connects to the board.
The signal wire goes to pin #3 of one of the chips as directed.
At the same time I decided to move the HL speaker to the rear of the Panther so that the recoil blocker could be in close proximity to the motors.Since the new location for the speaker is
partially under the turret rotation servo I had to chop, saw and file the speaker enclosure, after removing the smoker unit. While the instuctions are in German, they do supply photos to work from,
and now I can clearly see the barrel retract each time the cannon is fired.
P.S. The first picture is before the speaker was moved.

Nice, maybe someone at HL will see it and make it a standard item...wouldn't that be great. Hey, that clean work bench is not kosher!

Guys,Thanks for the compliments, especially my workplace ethics.Actually it`s my kitchen table that
I use for small tasks. The heavy duty stuff like motor repair / replacement or model painting I use
my attic workshop, where I would normally be building a model r.c. boat, or loading bullets for
target practice at the range.Talk about diversity, lol !

Many posts have shown the deplorable conditions our models much endure while they become what we desire them to be. In many cases , the "household kommandant" is the deciding factor in where we waste our valuable time while keeping out from under her feet.
Some of us have our hobby room, which in my case is also my music library. My bench also serves for repair-rebuilding woodwind musical instruments, making reeds and double reeds and repairing bagpipes, occasionsally pistol reloading but mostly for RC tank conversions and model-diorama work. Small tools are on a magnetic strip, wire bending tools, sheet, rod and tube styrene etc in drawers with a huge ref library case. It looks a mess, which it is after Dremeling blocks of resin. Just wonder how many others out there are willing to self incimination and show their work shop. All I have to do is mention that I will be making oboe reeds or doing "clean" model work on the kitchen table...and [:@][&:][:-]

Like that recoil killer module..should be standard on all tanks. Cheaper that El Mod.
