Question about vintage RC buggy
I was given a box of old RC car stuff about 13+ years ago by some dude that was dating my aunt and used to race them out in the Dallas area. I am just getting back into the hobby and was just curious what i had.
Looking around what I had running out of that box looked a lot like theTamiya Rough Rider. I used to run that thing all over the place. But it had a servo for the acceleration, that had a metal arm with a lead tip on it that had a wire connected to it and slid back and forth across something that had metal contacts on it, this controlled the acceleration / reverse. Anyone know what this was called? Maybe even give a rough date range for something like this?<br type="_moz" />
