I have responded so many times to the CA question. You spent over $500 or more on your Bipe, $ 3-500 on your engine, please be wise and spend $10 on real hinges. This way you will never have to worry and seek proof that CA hinges work.
Just this last weekend, a guy flying a 33% Edge 540T had his rudder CA type hinged fail. Later on he totaled it.

ca hinges
I agree with Stiker I have never used them nor will I ever been flying for 25 yrs. and have always used dubro pin hinges never have had a problem.
Just recovered a plane for a fellow flyer he had ca hinges on it and every control surface pulled off by hand, although it did make recovering easier, plane now has good hinges in it.

I have never used CA hinges and never will. However, for those who want to use them, they could pin them just like I always do with Dubro giant scale hinges to prevent pull out if the glue fails. They probably fail because the CA did not wick in properly to begin with.
