Default Vintage PB car

HI there, I thought I saw somewhere on your site a piece about the creator of PB racing cars.Kieth Preston or a name similar. I am trying to identify a car I have had for years and don't know what it is.I can't even remember who I got it from. The box has PB12 (PB racing products) ALPHA I S (independent suspension) PB12.
I have looked at many pics on the internet and none of them look familiar.Unfortunately I don't own a digital camera either to post a pic.

The car has a chain drive in the centre of the rear axle (diff),that goes to the main drive gear located behind the engine (picco 35)with slide carb.
The main chassis is of a box construction (ally)for the radio and fuel tank.(fuel tank on left looking from the back of car and both servos to the right of the fuel tank.
The suspension is rather strange for me.The front is individual springs through adjustable steel pins that connect to the steering block (upper sections).
The rear is a cylinder type (a small cigar size)going from one side to the other.(ally).This too joins both left and right hand rear suspension arms together. It has a rod either side that enter it (may be oil piston).

I have just noticed that some components have serial numbers or part numbers on them.
REAR SUSPENSION ARMS (top) 16/232 is the code.
Rear plastic section that holds the rear suspension together 16/248 is the code.
Rear bottom suspension arms 16/233 is the code.
The front suspension arms have (top ones) 12-235.
I could find more numbers but don't want to dismantle it until I am sure of the vehicle.
I would appreciate some help with this car, kind regards in advance.

Going by the date of the OP (and smartmart's last login date), it sounds like you're about 5 years too late with the answer.
