Rio 51 rudder

I have a rio 51 and would like to change the water pickup. my question is can I take the stock rudder and exchange it for a speedmaster dual pickup rudder without changing all the brackets.

I did on mine, but had to use a small washer to shim it a little. Has been working really well for 2 seasons!
