Default help with model of boat

i was givin this rc boat and iwas told it was a knockoff and wanted to know if anybody could help me figure out what it is or parts that will fit its a 2 stroke weed wacker style water cooledmotor not sure of size boat is around 48 inches or so long hydo style like miss budwieser probably20 inches wide or sohad no reciver transmitter or servos when i got it can send pic in email to big to upload here thanks for lookin

Hi Bud,

Welcome to the forum. Take a look through this thread - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9839636/tm.htm where the same boat was modified and seems to be running well.

I am not sure the name of the hydro - I think each (there are a few) importer applies his own name to it. Most call it an E-bay hydro since that is where most come from or end up.

that is a pretty close boat but i dont have the funds for all that i was hoping to find someone who has upgraded the stock motor and could suggest where to get parts i took it to a local hobbie shop and the guy didnt even want to help me cause its not name brand i was just mainly asking if he had a prop he said none of the ones he had would fit is it really that difficult to find parts??? mabee thats why my buddy just gave it to me brand new to the hobby i have i few rustlers ive been playin with but this is my first boat and i was hopeing to keep up better with my friends new king of shaves

south orlando / st cloud my buddy told me i should bring it up to hobby town usa in melbourne

i took it off colonial dr in orlando thats where they where no help
