Hi All,

Does anyone know the rough dimensions of this rectangular lake?

Also, is there any forums that are more tailored to the UK powerboat scene, or is RC Universe as good as any?

Google Maps Distance Calculator Puts it at 800ft x 200ft.

Perfect, so a 250ft long piece of rope should allow me to recover my powerboat from any place (Two people, one on each side holding the rope,drag it down to the stranded boat)

Only to be used if the electric recovery boat, fails, or no one else is there with a fishing rod style recovery method

Lot of rope to keep coiled up somewhere, you know you are going to end up with a giant crows nest to unravel. Fishing rod and line with a tennis ball might be a better option.........

Theres usually someone around with a rod, or we'll have the recovery electric boat, but always safer to have a third option

Going to store it on a kite handle or something like that, should hopefully minimise tangles.

hi matt you find that most off the time the wind dowen fleetwood cause theboat too drift in too the sides of the lake and then it a case off picking the boat out of the water
