Very nice, reliable, good power, and starts easy. No problems with any GMS so far, I've got a 47, 76, 120. The ringed engines take time to seat the ring and make good power, so be ready for longer break-in time.

I have two GMS .47's and a .76. Good running engines. The .76 doesn't have the shutoff problem.

The 47 is somewhat finicky with the low end adjustments, one click at a time. Another is to adjust the carb barrel as needed even if past ful close. This should help with the shut off problem. Tank position is also important, too low will have transition problem and too high might cause run on also. Fuel is another consideration, I use Powermaster 15% and no problem!

GMS makes great paper weights. I get to run several a week and better then 1/2 are turkeys. The only .76 I have run is now on the owners shelf and has been replaced by an OS 90.

May the force be with you on the day you buy yours.

Without knowing your claim, its unfair of your post! You should first check your fuel first and then other suggestions and maybe seek help from someone with more knowledge.
