Hello 310 fans,
I wanted to reach out and seed if anyone has any extra parts for the 310, I'm specifically looking for the fiberglass exhaust stack that goes on the bottom of the wing just behind the engine nacelle. I have some other parts I can trade for if you are looking for something as well.
Kind regards,
Doug

All up weight is 19.75 lbs fish scale and 21.2 digital scale. This plane has the factory nose weight which will be taken out. Has two saito 60t, robart electric retracts. I think after I get that nose weight out I can get it back down to 17-18.

Well just an update on the Cessna 310 in relation to flying the Saito 60t on a H9 80'' Cub the other day. The Saito 60T pulled the Cub without authority LOL. The cub weighed in at 8lbs 4oz on a digital scale and about 7.5 on a fish scale. That being said those 60T as figured will not pull the 310 at its current weight, which is around 19lbs fish scale and 21lbs digital scale. This is with the lead weight in the nose. I am going to try and do a little more digging to see exactly how much weight was actually in the nose of the 310. If it is not enough to lighten the plane down to about 14-15lbs then I am not going to go through with removing the lead and will just switch back to some OS .46 or .55 engines.

I did, awesome feature. Is that a first for an ARF?
The real 310 has fairly high wing loading, so if this model does as well it shouldn't be a big deal. Fast approaches and takeoffs are a 310 trademark. [sm=thumbup.gif] I just wanna see a picture of this one so I can decide whether to get one or not. Weight won't be a consideration.

Well not sure how accurate this is but in this thread someone suggest that the lead is 5lbs. Seems about right given how much I see in there. If I can remove that, then I would be in a safer range for Saito 60t flight . That would possibly get me down to about 13 -15 lbs. It would be a very scale takeoff and once in the air, should open up and fly pretty scale. Will not leave room for an engine out . If so I would need to just throttle back and glide it in the best I can.

Hello Everyone,
Ive been checking things out on my 310 over the winter since i had a left engine flame out last season. It was a loose pitts muffler that caused the problem. The plane handled fine running on one engine and i made it back to the runway. Does anyone use Onboard Glow in there Cessna 310? If so what unit are you using?
Thanks

Would anyone know the OD of the front & rear wing tubes for the TF Cessna 310 ARF? A friend just bought one but the seller misplaced both tubes. Not even sure if they are aluminum or carbon fiber
