RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
My truck is mostly for looking at & thats why I have 2 savages, a monster pirate, a monster blazer, & a nitro rush. I figure if your going to have a small collection you might as well have one that stays pretty.

q8 rc, where's your truck? since you rate things without not really knowing what you're talking about (calling a guy's truck "mostly stock" cause it has a stock body on it), i'm curious what you have. you probably wouldn't be impressed with mine, cause i don't have any aluminum on my truck other than what hpi put on it. except for the xtm 247 pro and the front tank mod (ofna 9.5 rtr tank mounted in the radio box), you'd probably think my truck was "mostly stock" too.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
i think the ratings should be based on performance/durability not looks. i have a nitro rs4 with over $1000, and not one bulky aluminum piece on it. it looks awesome with the graphite and aluminum brakes and shocks, but with that heavey aluminum on a truck, those pieces will just bend on crashes dont you think??? my savage is fairly new and I dont have any pics of it now, but what i have so far is:
envy dual disk brake kit
gh aluminum clutch shoes
aluminum center skid plate
robinson racing steel spur gear
aluminum tank guard
there are a few more things I plan on getting like:
hpi's graphite chassis plates
TSAIS bad boy or pro pipe
and maybe some proline 40 series wheels/tires(of course not for racing, just bashing)
I dont ever plan on getting aluminum shocks, just because the shafts bend way too easily and i'm not racing. The stock shocks work great. Also to note I have never broken a part on my savage....yet. It's a miracle, I crash it, flip it everyday 30 min. a day. I have lost a screw before that goes into the brake hub. Without that tiny little screw you're stuck with front wheel drive and that's not good at all

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
well, q8, i will cut you a bit of slack, cause this is a thread for pics of trucks. i wouldn't post any pics of mine with the stock body. i took it off as soon as i got the truck out of the box, along with the stock wheels and tires. the engine too, for that matter. not to be cool, but because i knew what i wanted out of my truck, and once i can get the imex jumbo swamp dawgs, it will be the truck i want it to be. a quick, bulletproof, ugly truck with a beat up body that will go over what it can't go around.
but don't dog on a person's truck unless you plan to show us yours. especially in a thread you started

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
Here are some crappy pictures i took right after i finished my SS ( they were taken at 3 in the morning with a crappy camera). I dont have any good photos because my brother had me jumping it about 8 ft high right after the breakin so my beutiful paint job is hashed now. O well jumping it was funner!!!

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
have you had any durability issues with those 40 series wheels? i've read they break pretty easy. i'm just running imex 1/8 buggy mt wheels with pro line mulchers. i like the huge offset (only 1/4 in backspacing). it makes the truck very stable. do you run your truck onroad all the time, or are those your shelf rims?
