Installed the elevator servos today (Blue-Bird BLS-3507), opened the slots for servo horns.
Then proceeded to glue elevator horns, using HYSOL with black carbon dust. Sanded horns to roughen the glue joint area before gluing (very important!)

also glued rudder hinges with Hysol, and glued vertical aluminum tube into to the fin.
While stock ball links looked fine, i opted for my favorite kind - Dubro 4-40 ball links.
pics attached.

Installed the Blue-Bird BLS-3507 on the elevator, and with a 3mm threaded pushrod. 1" servo horn (stock heavy duty plastic) seems to work very well.
Here is a small control test:

Aileron servos installed. Blue-Bird BLS-3507

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd50LeOI8P0 The kit came with hardwood blocks for mounting the wing servos. i prefer the aluminum L brackets, so i used brackets i hat at home.
i told Henry He from Top RC about this and he immidiately replies that he will include both the hardwood blocks and the L aluminum brackets from now on with all kits.

that is what i call service !

Just saw this jet at AMA expo east. Looks pretty good. Looks like U.S. distribution will be a joint venture of Gator RC and Robart. Caiman distribution LLC (Caimandist.com).

Main landing gear installation was a breeze.. check out the heavy duty retract motor !!
For mounting i used M3 hex bolts with blind nuts.
I like taking these preassembled gear and checking for loctite, and i was very glad to find all the bolts are loctited well!

There is a spring loaded "U" shaped aluminum bracket that lifts the door up via ball links, when the strut presses on it.
see attachments.

Hello.
I'm from Romania and my friend has a jet plane Odyssey.
Waiting for winter to pass so we can make the first flight.
On our forum RC can see some pictures of the construction.

Good luck,
Dan.

I decided to use FCT fittings on the fuel tanks - saw this at Jetpower and thought i MUST have them on my next jet.

Fabricated a very simple mount for the smoke tank.
mount is glued on top of intake (which is strong) and smoke tank will be held with zip ties to it.
