look at it like this. the Revo weighs in at 9.6 pounds. the Savage weighs in at 12.6. THREE POUNDS DIFFERENCE! if he says the TRX 2.5 is the best motor out there, he would shut his trap for good if you put that smallblock in the Savage. those smallblocks are MADE for racing and high rpms. these big blocks eat the low end power like candy. just imagine a 440 cuda racing a hyped up honda civic. who would win off the line? who would top out faster?

Well I ordered a Savage but I have a bad feeling that the Revo my brother has will kick my but off the line and on the top end. Your argument really has no real world purpose with these trucks. If you were using them to pull something then yes the bigger motor would really shine. The fact is that we jump them and run around in circles so the Revo probably wins in speed and practical power. I just wanted something different than him and most important something bigger!

Sounds like your LHS is like mine SORRY. The only thing I buy form them is fuel.
There service and support is pitiful and most that work there know nothing about what they sell.
