Thanks Hadi, But I meant a helicopter simulator so I can plug my transmiter in my pc and use it so I can control a helicopter on my screen and get use to the controls before i realy take my heli out.

FMS is a free RC flight simulator:

if your running windows XP/2000, you will need to use the PPJoy driver so your transmitter can talk to FMS.

You may need the add-on for micro helicopters. My honeybee came with the FMS on CD with the add-ons included...

till now ive really been ejoying my E-sky

but i did some modifications i builded a fuse in it for incase the amps get to high and the gyro burns out
it happened once to me a gyro burnout

and i got the gyro from this site again but see the one thing i like the most is that he responds to al my mails
not like most online shops out there and ive seen the e-sky there with cam and traings gear for 195.95 and hobby lobby is selling the e-sky for 249.95
and they dont even include a camera and trainings gear and also most parts from this site are 5 $ a piece

and some tips .. get some shrink plastic and place it around the tailboom for extra strength on the tailboom

Also looking for some more batteries and thought the new lipoly might be a good idea! But i realised that i need a 8.4v batter and i can only find the 7.4 lipoly's!
Any ideas on better batteries and where to find them?

Keep in mind that a 2-cell Lithium pack is 8.4v (4.2x2) unloaded like a 7-cell NiMH pack. It is only seen as 7.2v (3.6x2) when loaded or by a charger selection.

Under load, a 2-cell Lithium pack will keep it's voltage higher for a longer duration. Think of it as driving in Arizona or Utah and when the pack is depleted, you drive into the Grand Canyon. (flat voltage then a big drop)

For a NiCd or NiMH pack, you slowly drive down a decline.

Unfortunately I have never been to the USA, so wouldnt know what it's like driving in Arizona nor the Grand Canyon. But I think what you are saying is that the Lithium pack is better than the rest. So are you talking about the new Lithium Polymer batteries? If so could you upload a linkt to where i can order the cells?

Jepp....well, abit early to say im an expert but i have managed to hover ( for as long as a batt.pack last), without breaking it...
but have crashed..

Hi Speedpro1,

Here is a video clip on how to basicly setup you heli. This clip is from an Australian website, so am not to sure if the setup procedure is correct, as my throttle is on the left, but the video shows it on the right!

Thanks for the video! The E-Sky "Twister" looks the same as the "HoneyBee" except for the transmitter sticks.

Your making me nervous buddy! My videos should be made this Labor Day weekend and I only have one 20 second flight under my belt that landed in a crash without damage. My friend did manage to fly it and land it several times. We haven't touched the gain settings since it was removed from the box.

We flew the HoneyBee last weekend so i'll post a video later this week. Unfortunitly, I didn't get a chance to fly because it broke on a crash in 5-10mph winds. It should be an easy fix since just the skinny flybar broke.

The wind was frequently changing from about 3mph to 10mph gusts and there were times when the HoneyBee was hovering still with full forward stick. The three dorks in the grass before we broke the flybar did no damage so we got an idea of the heli's toughness and wind condition limitations.

It does say on the box, "Indoor Silent Flight", so outdoor flying must be in very little to no wind conditions.

I'll post the first video, repair the heli, and try again soon.

Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help me with the simulator.
I've loaded the FMS sim and also the PPjoy software. I plug the cable into my pc com port and the other into my Tx. I still can not get my Tx to work with the FMS!
I'm obviously doing somthing wrong.
Gone into the settings in FMS but it dont make any sense to me!
I have the E-sky transmitter and the cable which came with it, so where should i have to go and what should i have to set it to?
Can anyone help me out here please?
Your help will be most appreciated.

You need to set up PPJoy first in order for the TX to work in FMS. Link to tell you how:

Read the "Configuring PPJoy for using PPM radios under Win XP". Ignore all the jibber-jabber above it.

This video shows the limitations of the HoneyBee in wind and it also demonstrates some durability. The HoneyBee is really an indoor flyer and we have only tested it outdoors so far. The first test in no wind conditions produced the photos. The second test is shown in the video below. The slight breeze increased to 5-10mph gusts that pushed the HoneyBee around a bit. After three dumps in the grass, we only broke the skinny flybar that crosses the blades at 90 degrees.

I will plan another video soon.

I tested the link and it seems to work fine. My guess is a slow link between my host in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the UK.

Try a right mouse click on the link and select "Save Target As". This will save the entire 8meg file to your local machine.

Lastly, try it when the US is in the morning AM hours. Friday afternoons (EST) make for terrible downloads.

Thanks for the links. My cable plugs into my Com port, and not the LPT1 port. So dont know where to go as all the settings are based off the LPT!

Any info guys?
