If you decide to go the route of using silicone sealer to waterproof your servos, be sure to use HOUSEHOLD silicone caulk, not RTV silicone caulk. From what I understand, the RTV is meant for metal to metal interfaces.

Based on my experience with household versus RTV sealer on servo cases, the household caulk seams to stand up better, the RTV simply flakes and falls off too easily.
