So acording to GW that container doesn't exist?
GMP has been very helpful in keeping my Green MX going. I only hope he can continue to do so.

Made my order with Gerry at GMP for my MX2 fuselage, canopy , and cowl yesterday. My old canopy and cowl were usable, but flawless is always better!

It is simply amazing to me that an idea turned into a little witch hunt! Calling GW, asking about a container.... Are you guys kidding me?
I almost spent an obscene amount of cash to secure those kits... and now it seems the very folks I was trying to do that for, are trying to dig up something, as if I did something wrong or told a fib.
Truth be known... the company who ended up with it all is reasonably well known and I am sure some of you have done business with them.

I'd never touch that mission. save your$
edit. Meant to the OP likely to be a bad investment, it will take too long to sell off, doing favours is bad for Biz in the long run.
Good gesture to the hobby though

Taz, do you know if anyone bought the container/parts? I was just more curious than anything else as to where they might end up. I am guessing that GW shafted them or something as to why they have such a bad taste about this. It certainly happens and for many reasons.
I don't need any parts however I do have one GW plane and that is why I was asking. I don't have much in mine as I got a great deal on it. So if I do toast it I haven't lost much at all. Mine is the 30cc 300L V3 carbon fiber gear and such and is a pretty nice plane and flies well I might add.
Mine has decent hardware, easy to assemble, and I only paid a little more than you could buy a 60-90 size airframe for so that is why I am not complaining

I think when folks see the word "container" they immediately think about a manufacturer's container. I know I would have not thought storage container at all.
As a side note, if the price were right it might not be a bad investment. It would have all been contingent on the price as to whether it would have been a worthwhile endeavor.

I'm sorry if you think I was trying to bash you.
I was just asking the other poster if GW was denying such a container.

Kerwin, I for one still like GW ARF's, for the money they can't be beat. That said, where are you buying yours from? I wouldn't mind an MX2 or a Yak 54 30cc size if I can find one. Who is GMP?

Thanks Kerwin50, I checked but they are $50 higher on the few 30cc models they have vs. another website. Good to have options, looks like parts are getting harder to get so it may be time to jump to another brand like 3dhs (so dang expensive).

I just received my replacement fuselage, canopy, and cowl for my Fagen MX2 from Gerry at GMP. It got here quick and was really well packaged. Thanks! I couldn't find this anywhere else!

I had a mid air with my Pitts Python. Was woundering if you knew anyone with some wings? Lower left wing to be spacific. If not I will have to rebuild it but would like to just buy a new or use one.

I have a GW 300 30cc that I really enjoy flying, has become one of my favorites planes, and hope that if I need parts I can get them. I would certainly buy another GW without much hesitation at all. As a matter of fact I am looking at their YAK to get before next Spring.
The small things I had to do when assembling my GW were very minimal. The biggest thing I had was some slop in the wing tube which some thinned epoxy took care of. For my style of flying GW is not a bad bang for the buck at all.

I had the opportunity to chat to Terry from Goldwing. They're pretty confident that they can provide the spares, its the dealers ordering the right quantities thats the problem. They're making a concerted effort to turn it around so I'll support them. Would be great if they can offer similar service levels to what Pilot does but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Hey all,
Got the Peak Model Pitts Python back up today. Just to let everyone know the wing tubes for the Gold Wing Pitts are just a little larger and the holes for the guides don't quite match but you can make modifications to get them to work. If you want to know what I did just ask.
