Engine won't start
hmm , just when i started to check the glow thing, the glow thing inside the top of the engine, it gloweded. but when i put it back, that wierd noise came back when i tried to start it
it's like only if the cylinder is pumping and nothing else is heppening when i pull the pull starter... tottaly wierd, dont know what to do... my mom sugguested me to turn it in and pay for reperation but i rather do it myself... and everytime i pull the pullstarter, it never goes back in.. i must scroll it back in ... very very wierd stuff in it. and i tried most settings...
to me it almost seems like i should tear apart all parts and build it like a kit but im gonna ask u guys... becous this is total wierd right now and i got no clue how to fix it, basiclly all i did change since the RTR orginal is to huck up the glow top. nothing else.... and it already making wierd noises but its about 1 and a half year old tought.............

Will, you might want to check your tranny, does it feel grity when you turn the rear tires? Also check your brakes, are they releasing all the way? When your tires lock up does your engine still rev smoothly? How are you getting them to unlock?

Will, are you sure a little pebble didn't sneak it's way under your spur gear? If that happens, it will cause it to lock. That always happens with my GT, I wish there was some kind of gear cover.

alright FOXY it sound like you are getting a lot of bad ideas from a lot of people. bare in mind that you could have taken it to your local hobby shop and paid them $40-$50 to find out, or find out and fix your problem.
but since you insist on asking us, here's my bad idea.....
first off i don't know if you said you have ever gotten the engine started lately but you did saw you here a weird sound every time you try to start the engine and your pull start doesn't recoil.......
worst case scenario is you blew your piston rod.
to check you should take out your glow igniter....cover the hole in the top of the engine with your finger....while at the same time turning the flywheel with your other hand-or you can just pull on the start cord......either way you should feel the engine trying to suck and push your finger.......and it should be a fairly strong suction.
if you can't feel it at all, you blew a rod and need a new engine.
or if you can barely feel it sucking on your finger, you have low compression which is normal for an old engine that's just been sitting around and you need a new piston and sleeve for that type of engine......
well that's my sour input. let me now what you do i'm interested.
p.s. on a personal note...Sweden?....cool......what's the weather like there this time of year?

"should take out your glow igniter"
they are commonly called glow plugs. Just didnt want someone reading this getting confused because glow igniters are usually the device that attaches to the glow plug. Not attacking you just clearing that up

Foxy.......if you are having to wind up your pullstarter cord everytime your pullstarter is broken for one thing......it can be repaired but if you are new to RC it can be difficult....can usually buy new pullstart for around 30$.........about a new pipe.........CVEC racing pipes are great as I have one......I would highly recommend...
