i just bash it, its too much to race, i just had it out a second ago, it blows me away how fast it its, i gave it a little blip at a stand still and it spun and flipped immediatly. half throttle is like 40mph or faster than a t-maxx at top speed, full throttle and it wants to take off like a plane.

hobby king carries this motor for $15, just get a 20+tooth standard (1/10 shaft size) pinion, cut out a little plastic at the vent and tub.

i have a hobbywing 25A i got from hobby partz for $23 with a program card. if the side winder is more than 25A it should live.

on hobby king look up turnigy 5400KV 500 outrunner, make sure you get the one with 5400kv. if you wait a couple minutes on that page, you should get a notice that they will discount the motor because your looking at it (little trick i learned)

when you put it together, be easy on the the motor bolts, the threads are soft.

My brushless monster GT is probably my fastest and could be geared up a good bit, but thats not its intent. Both my savage and 4.6 Monster GT are also plenty fast enough for MT's IMO.

I dont have anything that goes over 40 though, and im good with that.

Fed on a strict ROAR-legal race diet of OFNA's and the new Losi hehe Not THE fastest but this truck holds its own and handles like it's on pavement. Started life as an RTR. Don't miss those days!

At least you do not need to try and figure out what is being said like that. I got sick of trying to figure out various peoples shorthand on forums and usually just ignore them.
