closetguy: You ever determine why the bearings went bad? What was they doing. Making a noise or lots of slop? I have not run into too many bad bearings in several engines I have worked on. Can you describe more on the bad bearing blues? Thanks Capt,n[]

Default RE: Looking for a good 50 size engine

ORIGINAL: WRK

I am looking for a good powerfull and light 50CC size engine, the only one I am not interested in is DA cause of the leaning problem at midrange, I would like to find one at least as powerfull or more so and hopefully one that is about as light, suggestions?

thanks,

WRK
I may be biased , but one you should consider is the DL50. Check out our website www.dlusa.net where you can learn about the engine, see videos of planes flying with them, and link to the RCU forum about the engine. The engine turns a 22X8 prop at 7200+ rpm for a very reasonable $370 shipped.
