RE: BLADE 400 VIDEO
Here is my 2 cents I started with the Lama V4 and loved it Moved ahead with the King2 because price was perfect to try heli flying without spending too much and be disapointed I progressed very fast and really enjoyed flying the king so i decided to upgrade the motor at a still low cost. While I was in my progressive training I did read lots on the T-Rex Se V2 and went to see it ,also had a friend with one and he did tell me that it was a very stable heli and that I could have learned on it too but for me it was a price decision as I was only trying out helis.
Now I made the move and got a T-Rex se V2 cause I love flying helis now and got a scale fuse for it I can say now that yes I would have probably learned very well and maybe faster on that one but would have been a lot more nervous to crash it at that price [&:] I dont fly full 3D just mild aerobatic ,I love scale flying so performance for 3D for me was not an issue.
Now my young brother started also with the Lama v4 and is doing well but he has no previous RC experience and has no RC equipement so when I saw the Blade 400 I went to see it and really looked at it in all angles. I did like what I saw for the price since he had to get a radio well the Spectrum DX6i dsm2 that was included was a good deal,he would have paid close to the same price for just the radio.
The size of the heli was good and I was confident that he would learn well on that one at a low cost.
He really wanted the T-Rex also but him was the looks of it ,because yes it does look really good so I told him leave to me I had spare parts from a repair job done on a friends T-Rex and born was a Blade 400 T-Rex wan-a-be I can say that I have one very very happy brother now
I did test the Blade and was very happy with the performance and very confident that he will be ok with it for a good while and if he decides to get a T-Rex later well thats his choice.
Conclusion enjoy what you have they all have their little differences

RE: BLADE 400 VIDEO
Not much just had to drill 2 new holes a bit more foward and down a touch so that the lower part rest against the landing skid like the Rex and I slide the little rod through the the canopy across the frame to the other side and insert a little piece of fuel tubing to secure it in place For the lading skid again had to drill 2 new holes to fit it at the frame and same for the vertical fin but this time I only had to make the lower hole a touch oval and it fits perfect. voila
oups! forgot yes these are both pictures of the B400 T-Rex wan-a-be

RE: BLADE 400 VIDEO
Why is it that any thread involving B400 or blade cp in the title degenerates into "buy a Belt CP" or "just buy a t-rex" WTH? I think some of the people poeting in here need to realize that THIS IS THE E-FLITE FORUM!!!!!!!!!!! .
Seriously, this place would be a hell of a lot nicer place for the rest of the 95% of us that actually are interested in E-flite products if you guys would just go troll/peddle your helis in their respective forums. Somehow I doubt if you go into the E-sky/T-rex forums that you will find a bunch of derailed threads by guys trying to tell everyone that the B400 is the best. Please just answer me this, why do you guys even bother reading/posting in here if you don't like their products??
