I found your google video a while back and posted it in [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4517880/tm.htm]this[/link] thread. So how did you keep the vibration so minimal by just taping that camera to the frame?

Could it just be the weight?? The T7 pegs at 4oz and does seem to be at the limit. Each flight did stay up for about 5 minutes and as you can see did go up prettty high...high enough to make me really nervous...since I was basically just threading the needle through the trees around my house.

I was really impressed by the video quality. The google video does not do it justice at all. Only vibration/shakiness is in overcontroling the DF.

I stated I would shoot more last night. Question: How long do LiPos last? My 2 are about 3 years old now. They both worked well in the spring when I had those 3 great flights with the T7 but yesterday, I could not get more than about a minute out of either one. Just getting used to flying it again and they went dead. The difference? 4 new motors and the new nylon rotors and a new Futaba 6ch radio Tx. I guess I need to invest in new batteries. Do the balancer/charger thingies really help out? Just curious.
Thanks

Looking back at the raw video now I guess the flights were shorter than 5 minutes...closer to just over one minute. Still, with the weight it did get up pretty high. I guess the batteries are just worn out.

You've got that right! It is very risky flying over an area with trees that high and close together. If it goes down in the top of one, that's it, unless you know someone with a real helo that could lower you on a line to rescue it. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=3746138]Here[/link] is what happened when mine went down in a tall tree. Luckily it was isolated AND close to a road.

Nice videos and a very timely warning...I just fished mine out of a tree tonight with a roof shovel (50 foot long pole used to get snow of your roof). Broke a motor mount when it came down I just wasn't fast enough.
