RE: Ok worth a shot so here goes
SHOK,
The Bee is definitely worth a look!!! My flying partner and I have two of the first ten or so to be delivered. Granted, there were some small problems, one flame out and some transition "burbling" and an occasional starting problem. But bare in mind that these engines were from the first production run. ArtesUSA has bent over backward to correct these problems and has worked with us to make sure that the engines meet or exceed published claims, and believe me THEY DO! One is installed in a BVM F-86 and the performance is much better than with the RAM 500 that came out of it. Quicker off the runnway, MUCH more responsive throttle/spool up, better sound , it just sips fuel and the plane has better overall performance. The other is going into a Yellow Starfire II. This engine makes the conversion a snap. Small size, low fuel consumption and great support are what sold me on the engine. SHONNY you really missed the mark on this one![:-] The Starfire is going to be lighter with the turbine as opposed to the D/F setup.
Look for it soon at a fly-in near you....but look fast 'cause it's gonna be a bullet.

I may be wrong, but i think there is a construction article of one of these in the latest Jet Power magazine. Your looks a lot better though.
keep up the good work.
