You don't need skills. Go with one nice color and a few stickers. Less is more with this. Maybe tamiya gunmetal grey with some tatoo stickers...

I originally used a 4000mah hard case 2s but found there was too much power with the motor i used.
I went back to old school with a nimh pack (6 cell) and a 19 double motor that is much more managable.

I have an origional Beetle Digger that both of my sons grew up with.
Their preference is a ROAR 27 turn motor with a 4 cell Nimh 3300 pack.
the 4 cell rides wheelies farther & longer.
The 6 cell pack just wanted to spin the tires and wheelies were shorted distance.
I have the origional optional ball diff and the strait axel as well.
BoLink was a local company right across the street from the airport that the 911 terrorists learned to fly at. (sad, but true)
