Sandor,

One thing I would like to see is a small strip of hard rubber on the mounts. I found one of my P160's was slipping in the mount despite being very tight and I found putting a thin(0.5mm) strip of hard rubber on the inside of the mount solves the issue. It also had the added benefit that the turbine case isn't scratched or marked.

Geoff.
will see if i can find the stuff and add it to the total package , good idea btw

Have been waiting for this in a long time.
Last time I bought one from BVM....not very nice looking and with: Freight, VAT and custom,..... way too expensive!

Problem is the colour once it is purple it triples in price

Someone mentioned it already, pre fitted rivnuts would be great, real pain to have to get a nut on the other side, be very useful if you tend to swap a turbine between models you could have a mount in each

About time someone did this, the Ramtec compatable clamp is a real pain, Well done Sandor, as Jason said Weldnuts on the bottom of the clamp would be neat, with hex socket head bolts.

Can you just bend the right angle at the end to a small angle say 30deg to start the bend off and leave the rest flat? at least then we would have a starting point to bend from.

also we got a request to make a special islandic version:
lol, Carsten and crew take good care of me!

Just change "Islandic" to "Icelandic" and I wouldn't mind a pre bent version.

Great Idea,

Would also be nice if there was a small slot where you could turn the Turbine 2-3 degrees left or right to adjust the angle to align easier with the thrust tube.

Would have to be in the top section as the welded nuts would be in the bottom half.

Sandor.

By stronger, i mean maybe a little thicker than standard Jetcat mount, i have a new 120sx, my first Jetcat,
The mount is very soft and bends easy... My Behotec mount is thicker, and seems more strong...
I also like the idea of rubber strips between the clamps and turbine, and welded nuts like the new SX mount has...

Wonderfull to see new products, and what your doing....

Cheers Jeremy.

Prebend for me !
I think it still will be possible to ship in big envelope, with just the four 90° bends made.
Not necessary to do the shaping bend for the turbine.

If you have to do the bends yourself, i am afraid the bending radius will vary to much, causing the correct radius/grip around turbine to become to large/small.

Problem is and i am sure it is in all country,s
if the envelope is thicker then 30mm is is considered a package and not regular mail.
about the bending.
no the bends will settle themselfes as soon you fasten them

Geoff, Sandor
In the beginning of this turbine era, SimJet provided a double side sticky scotch tape with their mounts. I think it was blue , it coped very well with the moderate casing temps. It was of course wasted as soon as the clamps were opened, but easily removed by thinner and then you just applied a new strip to the inside of the two clamp halves. I'm sure this is the easiest way to keep the mount stay in place, it worked and it's a very cheap solution.
My 2cents

A maximum letter i.e by Danish definitions is WxLxH <90cm and weight max 2.000g.
Such a letter which easily could hold as Anders suggests a complete mount with only pre-bent "lugs" and all the fancy engraving you could provide, from us in Denmark to you in Holland or ANY EU-country by priority mail for less than 4€.
My knowledge of the Dutch language is zero, but from the TNT page, is it correct your thickness limit by letters is 3,2cm? How about pre-bend the lugs to 70-80deg and keep the letter thickness to a minimum but still keep it simpler for the end user to adjust the last degrees.
Regards Thomas
