I'll post some pics of mine tomorrow if i remember. I've got a OS .18 motor and rpm wide arms and shock towers but its stock other than that. I got it for christmas when i was 12 or 13.

these trucks are great... my first truck was a sportmaxx... it got me into this hobby... it is the same as tmaxx just 2wd single speed with no reverse but now i have 2 speed conversion with 4wd on it... dont need reverse much lol.... i love this truck still have it and run it just about every weekend... if i remember right i think i was 14 when my dad got me that truck and i am 20 now and still driving it lol...

Yes, they will work...
So, they are almost fully compatible, but there are a few gotchas like this.

how long did they sell them with clear bodies stock?
