Yes, 22x8, 22x10, and 23x8, you can get them from www.troybuiltmodels.com, once you try one your mejzliks will become display items lol

We tried one on a friend DA100 PT 28x10,, brand new engine but we couldn't get more than 5500 rpms out of it,, I know brand new engine,,,,bad thing we maiden the plane and had a total of about 10 flight on it on 1 weekend,,and when we took the spinner out the prop looked like it was delaminating,,,but taking a closer look it was actually breaking it could have been a bad thing if it happened while flying!!!!

I wonder which one I should try for my DA50 , i am getting here in North Carolina,, 7200 rpms from a Menzs 22x8 ,, do these props load the motor,,, if so I will go with the 22x8

Charra - a prop which loads the 100 DA to 5500 is simply overpropping it
realistically - buy a prop whch will allow at least 6000 on the ground set slightly rich
paint 28x10 on it to fool the common folk
and save your engine from being fried.
Some 28x10's are simply no more load than a good 26x10
Some are waaaay more load - don't rely on the numbers you see.

jongurly, the PT props rev a little bit more than the mejzlik, are lighter, and spool faster. Not sure if less load, but more efficient IMO. If you like the performance of your 22x8 already, I am sure you would like a PT 22x8 or maybe the 23x8.

So I think that NX 27x10 should be a lot better now,,,,I'll tack it tomorrow we are going flying so I'll have some ###.

If flyingrazrback is right and PTs load less than a Mej, then there is something wrong with the motor or the exhaust. He should be getting well over 6,000 RPM...

I don't think there was anything wrong with it,,, it must be one of the less powerfull DA's,,we called DA CS and they also though it was too big of a prop,,,we checked the neddels and they are set just fine as factory and we lean the high a bit. It has also been really hot here so that could be a problem too.
I think the 27x10 NX it's going to be a lot better,,we are flying the Aero-Works QB 35% Extra 260 and it floats forever for landing it's worst than a Pip Cub so a smaller prop once we bring it back to idle should also help it slow down quicker!!!!
The other PT 28x10 even at idle want;s to keep flying,,,and on the ground we got the idle down to 950rpm without quitting!!!!!

Charrua, what type and brand of exhaust do you have? I find it hard to believe that 28 is loading the engine up that much. If you are running cannisters your headers may be too long or too short. If you are running stock mufflers, some brands suffocate the engine and don't allow it to breathe.
I have a Mezjlik 27X10 and a PT models 27X10 and will be taching both of them tomorrow. I am hoping to get at least 6400 out of one of them. Before switching from J&A mufflers to BME mufflers, 6200 was the best I could get...

Ok I just got back from the field and we tack it again with the new NX 27x10 prop and we are getting 6360 rpm's,,before with the PT model 28x10 only 5500,,,,butttt,,,,,big difference in the noise now,,,,it's kind of loud I think it's the prop,,,,,it sound like if it were too rich from idle to about half throttle you can hear the tatatatatat sound. It sounds really rough now,,, but it spools up much quicker.
I think I got some video of the plabe with that prop flying I'm gonna make a little video and upload it!!!!

it's the regular NX prop,,, I heard the NX pro or G3 series same size were not giving good rpm's.
I think this prop is ok if it wasn't so loud but we don't have to worry about the noise in our field,,,the PT was very quiet but for break in I think it was loading tha engine too much.
Any one on the Mejzlik???? after break in??? 27 or 28???

set right - adjusted for full power on verticals-prop for the mid 6000 range -I would ignore advice about any prop which will not pull at least that rpm easily
Today -I went flying with long time friend who uses the DA100 on DA in cowl mufflers -all in a Fibre Classics Extra - The setup is a one flipper to start and runs flawlessly
This setup is propped with a 26x10 Mejzlic and runs very high 6000 rpm range on th ground -
Power is instant for anymaneuvering
using larger props -power is always down on the DA100 here. We are at 4350 ft -
I know they run better at sea level -all engines do
My point is that most power is produced at better revs - the engine stays cooler and all in all just a better setup
The preoccupation with trying to use props which won't break 6000 -is in my book

Dick, what about near sea level? I'm around 600 ft and haven't ran my new DA-100 yet. I purchased a 27x10 PT prop for breakin. Should I move to a 26x10 or is my altitude going to allow the engine to turn the 27x10 at the necessary RPM? I am also using the MTW canisters.

shakes, any good 27x10 will be fine to break in your DA. You may even find out that after it breaks in you want to stick with a 27x10 instead of a 28x10 depending on how much your plane weighs, flying style, etc. Every DA 100 I have had and broken in I have used 27x10s, usually Menz 27x10s (actually about 26.5x10 in size)

That was exhaust noise -typical for the stock DA in cowl stuff .
None of that type flying requires full power - so just use a 27 x10 and have fun
But: pulling from moderate speed to vertical - do a multiple full snap sequence- and a push over to a level slow roll- If you can do all that easily with no wallowing around and no heading changes - --you have power /thrust working correctly .
