Guys !
FEJ only come forward because the world is starting to burn under them .-)
Its an easy calculation when customers are joining forces, so they only help because they see a possible drop in turnover during the next period or years.
They should have been on the spot first time after the incident - so it too late - still shame om FEJ !

Yep... I was going to say the same thing myself.
If there wasn't all this bad press on them... they would have walked away.
BUT... I think the RC jet community still needs to stick together to get them (and others) to change their ways of taking a large deposit, and not shipping for 6 months. I personally refused to buy a CARF rookie twice, because it wasn't in stock, and they said a min of 10 weeks to get one. (with full payment up front)
Because of that... I found a nice used HotSpot, and am moving on.

RE: Update: FEJ F-14 (Time is up!)
Good For you Dubd!
Although I still don't buy it, these guys have been in business for some time now and you would think some of these kinks would have been worked out by now. It's easy to say, we will replace the jet, but what about electronics and lets say the out of control jet would have hit and killed someone. These kind of things can not be swept under the rug with a simple email. I have owned a FLY eagle honeycomb and to this day, can bot understand why honeycomb is being used on very important parts of the jet.

Glad to ear it Dubd,
Even if they give a new plane or whatever financial compensation, that only cahnges the 1 fact.
They are listening to the customers that have faulty products. Wonder what the reasons are.....
ALL the rest is missing...
Regards
Nuno

Jetnuno, I have no idea what FEJ is going to respond with. I'm in the dark just like everyone else.
It's been 2.5 days and I'm still waiting for FEJ to provide details. They said a few days, so I expect a response by tomorrow.

I'm done waiting for FEJ to respond. It is clear that they do not give a rat's @$$ about me or the people in this hobby.
Time to move on to other things.
