Been getting on with the wings between family stuff. The airbrakes are done. Ailerons done, need to glue the wing flap hinges into the flap and the horn in position. I cut down the Flap horn too, I wanted a decent flap angle and with the Flaps hinged on the lower surface, it needs a horn set back from the hinge line.

nice photo..

i finshed my wings and is slightly different than yours...
the airbrakes in not full resin in the horne position but empty..
the servo wood support are little...

i changed the position of gear door air cylinder (respect the LUCIANO vampire) due to not touch the main wheel
i reduced all horn hinges

Nikon [8D]

Yes, the wood supports are quite small in most of the surfaces, but this is OK as they designed the horns to go full depth between both skins of each control surface.
Wing servos are JR 8411 Ailerons, JR8231 Airbrake and JR8305 Flaps. Only the aileron requires an extension lead of 200mm.
I have not worked on the gear door yet, but will probably change the air rams to larger diameter cylinders (personal taste)

From the emails I have had, some have not seen the complete model, so...
It's 1/5th Scale, yet breaks down into very compact sections

Guess yours is an earlier kit?

Sure mine is the same as Luciano! Only wing at home, but I'm sure

can you post some photo about internal installation? (rx, pump, powerbox or similar?)

DerJet are in Chinese New Year till next week.
Everything forward! Which turbine will you use?

I think the linkage will be vertical on your flap, Long servo horn facing back and a small horn glued to the flap.

i think yes...but the servo support must to be glued on fuselage and the fiberglass is not rigid

i think to test the vampire with 85N engine but the performance will not be good i will change
to 160N home build detuned to 100N - 120N

I think 95-100N enough for smooth scale flying, but 110-120 for scale speed flight.

Did you get a wood frame for servo mounting? This will add a lot of rigidity

I guess that is why they changed the design! Maybe cut a new servo hatch?

Gonzalo38

Only prototype I know of, several being built to fly in the next month.

Having got back to the build, I found the wing flap on the second wing was very slightly distorted. If I wasn't so fussy I could have fitted it as it was, but the slight twist would have meant the lower surface would not match perfectly, with the top section lined up.
I decided to split the flap with a razor saw (32 T/") and re-bond with aeropoxy while the flap was weighted down over night. On the ground you will not see the cut.
