Default Finished Fiberclassics Pics!!!

Okay Gang,

Right now I am flying it like this.
Elevator Low=12deg, High=31deg
Aileron Low=20, High=25
Rudder is as much as physically possible.

Clearly I have some work to do

Ricky,
How did you get so much on the elevator?

Rick- I shortened my elevator horns, I cut off about 1/4 inch of the part that goes into the elevator. I did that on all my horns, and I'm using the 1.25 SWB arms with the H9 pro links. It works great, and absolutely no slop. It's in the paint shop being painted. How much does your's weigh? Ricky

Ricky,
I'll have to mod the horns too, gotta get that throw. My plane came out slightly over 25# but I've got two 2700 Mah packs in there and 1 2100 ignition battery. Seems like a pound and a half in batteries. I may put it on a diet yet - but so far I like the capacity.

Default Control Throws

Okay,
Here is what I got. I cannot seem to get the aileron throw you guys are talking about, 30deg? I get 25.5 at the most. I even raised the holes on the arms 1/4". Here are the numbers

Elevator = Low13deg - High 39deg
Rudder = Low 35deg - High 45 deg
Aileron = Low 16deg - High 25.5deg

I'm curious, how does this compare to what you guys are using?

Additionally, There is supposed to be some aileron differential in this model, right now I have none. How much seems to work?

Default More Throw

OK,
I got more throw by simply re-adjusting the ATV!!! :stupid: I get an easy 30deg on the ailerons now, it could go more but the horn is hitting the sealing flap on the underside of the hinge line on down aileron.
I suspect I can get the 50 deg on the elevator too, but I didn't fool with it yet. I spent the better part of last night fooling with the differential, trying to get more down then up. Still not quite there, but after sleeping on it, I think I know what to do now.

Is anyone using more then 30deg or is this enough?
RickP
