MVVS headers and mufflers can be obtained from MVVS. Unlike just about any other engine manufacturer MVVS performs research into a better exhaust system for their products.
As for engines, I'm down a few at the moment.
BME 116
Brison 3.2
Brison 6.4
Ryobi conversion of about 40cc
DA 100
DA 150
3w-28
3w-24
Precision Eagle 4.2

The US rep for Mintors, TOP DAWG, has never responded to emails and phone messages. Any news about these guys? Are they viable?
Here is a picture from Joe Nall this year. From Left to Right. Gabriel Altuz, Daniel Holman, Fat Me and Colton Clark. I had a great time.
Do you guys want to see a video of Colton and Gabby flying together? Highly recomended by me.

I mostly have converted weedeater or chainsaw or snowblower engines myself. One can't beat the price if they do the conversions themselves. I get mine on trash day when the previous owner puts them out to be disposed of.
I do have a three Chinese made gas engines, but I haven't even attempted to run them yet.

I am currently running a MVVS 80 Twin Spark on MTW RE3 pipe in Hanger 9 Sukhoi and MVVS 58 Prosport LE on MTW RE2 in Aeroworks Edge 540. Here they are on my desk:

RE: Non Chinese Gas Engines
There is a 40cc Ryobi. On the RCS4040B Saw (a 16" blade). I have that particular saw here (it was an "inheritance", My main saw is an Echo CS400).
Funny place this is isn't it. Didn't take long for a company to use it to push their wares of their "latest addition", nor did it take long for some to tell us how their "C****** S***" are the best in the world.
Now back to the advertised programming
Just my personal observations to date
I find it interesting to see just how high the proportion is of the "old" engines out there that are still happily being flown because of their robustness and reliability. It is heartening to see.
I also find it interesting to see the proportion of "Home Made" (aka conversions) being listed. To me this is a hobby where "building skills" in general have been declining. Those doing conversions are right up there as skilled builders in my books.

Wouldn't it be interesting to know how many of the C****** are still running with a few hundred hours on them.
You quite commonly see that with all the brands that have been mentioned in this thread.
I'd love to see examples of how many hours have verifiably been clocked up on a given engine. I bet some of T.O.M.'s 3W engines have in excess of 500 hours on them.

I could go to the used shelves and grab a large number of 500 hour engines. Once people learned how to run them the problem was getting them to retire them with less than 500 hours on them. I've got some with 700+ and still making within 100 RPM of the best they ever did. Not a one has ever had a ring changed. Oil and temp control, along with an initial good design and quality control, is what made it all happen. And they have each more than paid for themselves a couple thousand times over through that life cycle and reliability.
