No, let the manufacturers worry about capacitors, you don't need any that you don't already have.
If you're just burning to spend 21.99 making your car better, this is what you should buy..
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Adjustable-BEC
This will ensure that your servo gets exactly the number of volts you want and as many amps as it needs at all times and takes all the strain off your ESC's internal BEC, reducing temps and increasing longevity of both servo and ESC. If you have a 'high voltage' servo, you will want a castle link usb programmer in order to sett he BEC voltage to 7.4 or 8.2 or whatever you want (unless otherwise specified your servo wants 6v, which the BEC is set to provide from the factory).
In high power applications, BECs are really worth having, imo.

Cool. Added it to the wish list. =)
Snow came unfortunately and we have talked about how to cover the internal from water and dirt.
Since it's a common car there should be some solutions, but i can only find
home made solutions. Are there any factory made products??

http://i1.wp.com/www.myrcbox.com/wp-...snow_mgt_8.jpg
And about tires. I bought extra rim and trencher tires.
I consider to use the original tires for snow. Not best but maybe okay with
kold kutter racing.

Any experience with such winter solutions?

Lol, sorry. But I guess you have dirt and mud in Greece.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Outerwears-2...-/191029408061
Can't find it in any store.
Edit: Just noticed "A: Yes i got it directly from outerwears it will fit the sc8.2e & rc8.2e. You have to call them or you will never find it."

Will Mod 1. pinions work with 48pitch spur?
Robinson Racing Pinion Gear 6-Pack Even 16-26T
They mention 48pitch but are they made for 5mm shafts?
----
I noticed that there are Trencher tires. And Trencher X tires. Both have same dimensions on website, but people write that X are larger. Have you seen these two live and what are your thoughts about their differences?
Thanks.

No, the only pair of different gear pitches that we use in RC which are close enough to be called interchangeable are mod .8 and 32 pitch, but I wouldn't even do that. In 1/8th, always use mod 1.
On the trenchers, I think you'll find the X are wider.

1)
I have received my SC8.2E now. Noticed that center diff have leaked oil during transport.
And it's oily on the spur and pinion. Is it normal or should i do something before running?
2)
I think you wrote that i could use any connectors i find. So i guess EC5 (5mm) would work even
if castle use 6.5mm on their products in general?
3)
Little skeptic how i should place the power cables among esc and battery. Feels short, thinking i might replace ecs cables for something longer and in the same time a thicker size.
Perhaps not a good thing to make it longer? As it is now it feels like i have to bend it hard. Battery close to esc.
4)
If anyone read my earlier posts about pinions; i was wrong. It's not 48pitch. Its mod1. Just like original
Reedy engine so i will use this gear (5mm 17t mod1) for now. (noticed foxys links tolate)

1) Normal, you are going to change that oil anyway, be very careful with the gasket when you take it off not to damage it, though it may already be damaged since the diff is leaking. diff gaskets are cheap anyway.
2) EC5 should be fine, nobody uses 6.5mm bullets for batteries, only for motor connectors. Which brings me to...
3) If wires are a bit stretched, rotate the motor a bit to release the tension, you may need to use different screw wholes to get the desired angle. Castle wires are usually soft, and can be cut/lengthened, but check this in your motor manual first, some BL motors you cannot cut the motor wires.

I realize i should read the manual, but... Do you have to take apart almost everything to change oil or are there some easy solution
that i have not noticed yet?
Right gasket? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSKR3&P=7

Right gasket.
No easy way to change oil I'm afraid, open the baby up, clean everything inside, all the gears everything, put it all back together, fill with new oil to level with top of gears, replace gasket, screw together. Repeat front and rear.

Looking at the manual. There are more parts. Will they brake when i am taking it apart so i should replace everything?
89121 diff o-ring (4 in front, 4 in rear, 4 in center)
6588 black greese (1?) is there any better greese?
89120 diff washer (2 in front, 2 in rear, 2 in center)
89116 gasket (1 in front, 1 in rear, 1 in center)
Confused. 3 gaskets in manual. But towerhobbies sell 4 pack?
And when i search 89121 it shows a pack with "9 o rings of various sizes. rc8"
89120 resulted in a whole gears/washer/ pins kit.
Am I searching for parts in the wrong or right way?

You don't need any of those other things, they are all reusable multiple times, you don't need any grease to rebuild a diff either, just lube up the o-rings with teh same silicone oil you will be filling the diff with when you insert them.
You seem to be doing a fine job of searching for parts, the o-rings and gaskets and things like that are sold the way they are because racers will often replace things like that.

Personally, I would splice it into the red and black of the cable that goes from the ESC to the receiver, as close as possible to the esc side, that way it'll get whatever the ESC BEC puts out, which should be 6v or thereabouts, and you won't have used a receiver slot or have extra cabling everywhere. Once you've spiced it in, just cover the whole deal with a nice looking piece of heat shrink.

Googled about heat and people seem to get heat problem with the older 10amp bec and 6s applications.
Think i will place it outside. Not just sure were. Perhaps ontop of the bridge between radio and battery tray?
Much air, no water pool risk, easy to mount. No high cost if it overheats and damage the tray.

In the radio box myself on cars that have one, not all of them have one, but I'd like to have one on all of them eventually. Its not a priority for some as their servos aren't very juicy.
