I thought this would happen.
A lot of builders on this forum have complained, commented, and downright
refused to complete this plane.
My initial thought of the kit when I opened up the box was good.
When I started to assemble it I found things that I did not like.
I fixed them and went on.
I studied the over airfoil, weight and engineering and thought this would be a good flying plane.
Now the truth is out .
Phil Cope reports that his P-38 flys well and looks good doing it.
For you other builders of this KMP P-38 build it and fly it.
No ......upon close inspection you can tell that parts fit is not NASA approved.
That the landing gear is not perfect scale, and a lot of other small details.
Just put it together and go out there and HAVE A GOOD TIME.
I am building mine as fast as I can.
Please everybody have a happy new year.

Funny, I was just going to ask the same question... What happened to www.ultimate-rc.com? Shipping of the KMP P-38 to the US should be cheaper from Ultimate RC. Has anyone called to find out what exactly is up?
