I thought this would happen.
A lot of builders on this forum have complained, commented, and downright
refused to complete this plane.
My initial thought of the kit when I opened up the box was good.
When I started to assemble it I found things that I did not like.
I fixed them and went on.
I studied the over airfoil, weight and engineering and thought this would be a good flying plane.
Now the truth is out .
Phil Cope reports that his P-38 flys well and looks good doing it.
For you other builders of this KMP P-38 build it and fly it.
No ......upon close inspection you can tell that parts fit is not NASA approved.
That the landing gear is not perfect scale, and a lot of other small details.
Just put it together and go out there and HAVE A GOOD TIME.
I am building mine as fast as I can.
Please everybody have a happy new year.

Funny, I was just going to ask the same question... What happened to www.ultimate-rc.com? Shipping of the KMP P-38 to the US should be cheaper from Ultimate RC. Has anyone called to find out what exactly is up?

Read on here where the guy who was Ultimate RC is now running KMP's US office in the northwest somewhere I think. A few months back, his website would redirect to KMP Models. Dont know ant details for sure. Check post #53 in this thread: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_13..._4/key_/tm.htm
Has contact info for Matt.
