Stay with the larger HG offerings. Might be more expensive but always more bang for the buck.

Only thing I can complain about Hengguan was losing a few of the small bolts & hinge from my Hummer's tail gate driving it hard like I normally do but that's my fault for not having taken to the time to add LocTiite when I got it. No big deal, I still consider it one of best RTR purchases I've made. Can't wait to get my hands on what's to come next year.

If you guys need parts for the HG make sure to let us know. Might take a while with Covid going on but we should be able to get most stuff for you guys. We also do ship international for parts now via USPS, UPS, or DHL if you have a preference.

If one of the guys with the Toro mrap will take a photo of it sitting next to a 1/16 tiger one I can also take a photo of the 1/12 scale sitting next to a Tiger 1 and that might give us some idea of size comparison between the 1/16th and 1/12 scale offerings.

I don't have a Tiger...I have mostly modern and Russian armor. Someone was telling me that the Trumpeter MRAPs are actually around 1/14.5, but I haven't had a chance to try and verify that.

The 1/12 HG 806 Trailer that hooks up to the HG 802 8 wheeled prime mover is often seen carrying a 1/16 Abrams and it looks just fine.
I recently bought the HG 5th wheel upgrade kit which I plan to fit in place of the tipping mechanism of my HG-P803A 8 wheeled Dump truck,
I have been told that my plan is a no no but the 801/802 chassis and running gear are identical to the 803A so I fail to see why the conversion will not work and with those famous last words I shall head off to the workshop and if it is successful I shall then acquire an Abrams,
If it is not then I shall start a conversation with Mr Trump on the unfairness of the World and the conspiracy's that thwart both of us.

The 1/12 HG MRAP towers over any Tamiya 1/16 tank
...like Godzilla over Tokyo!
To lockdown lazy to photograph my Tamiya Abrams and my HG MRAP together, maybe tomorrow. They just do not play “scale” well together.
As to my 1/16 RC junky Torro M-ATV, I contacted someone who can turn it into a working RC off road vehicle using better rc components and based on a WPL 4x4 truck chassis. This will rake some time, RC skills I do not have and I will not post the project until finished next year.

Fantastic RTR!

Change of plans, I'm going to wait for the next shipment to hit imex and get the mrap in it's ready to run configuration, rather than having to add my own lights, sounds, Etc.
I've got more projects than I'll ever finish right now, so I'd rather get one that's completely ready to run that I don't have to do anything to.
