I end up ordering a swiwin 120B instead of the k102. The swiwin runs off 3s Lipo. So I’ll use 3x 2s 4000, 1x3s 5000. I can “adjust” my battery capacity if I need more nose weight. Along with having the uat forward.

I should be getting the jet in 2 weeks give or take.

There are 2 Spektrum 4000 LiPo for the radio, a Spektrum 5000 Life for the ECU and a Pulse 2550 Lipo for the retracts and lights. I made a plywood box that they slide into. As you can see they are as far forward as you can get them.

That’s a lot of batteries. I was hoping to go smaller.

Do you have any pictures of the box you made?

Thanks

I laser cut the parts. The images are from the Pro-E CAD model. I used 3 flat head machine screws to bolt it to the front plate.

Nice! When did you order? Is there room for a smoke tank in the back like the big one?

I hope mine ships soon.

It looks like a small tank might fit. I keep everything light so no smoke for me.

I narrowed the million schemes down to this exact scheme and color combo, and the next morning it showed as "in stock" so I snagged it. That was about 2 weeks ago. I know that is crazy but it's true.

No progress. I build my own wiring so I can’t help with that.

Wow, you shared your pictures over a month ago. Possibly the repaint delayed it? I got one picture of most of my plane on 10/13, then the landing gear showed up out of the blue on 10/21. Hopefully see the plane soon

The repaint took 1 week. Not sure why it took a few more weeks but the jet is on the way now. Don’t think I’ll get to fly it this year.

Jet made it here safe. Have a little problem, the gear was not cut into the wings. When I ordered the kit with out gear because I already had a set of electrons. So I’m seeing if they have a pattern they can send me to cut the opening in the wing.

otherwise the paint job is great.

EA sent me the cut out pattern. Not sure if I’m going to start on it this weekend or not. I live in the Midwest and it turned cold this week.

Looking good. I normally build my own wiring too but I decided to try their pre-made wire harness from EA. I think i have everything I need except the plane, The waiting is brutal.

Finally got a shipping number on Nov. 13, looks like its going to show up when I'm out of town. Did you guys have to sign for the package or did the carrier drop it and run?

I used the $495 option and I was home so I can't recall, but I do know that my buddy had one just dropped. I'd make sure your neighbor knows about it and can get it inside their house.
