when my dad first got his savage ss when they came out i wanted to get into R/C to so he gave me his old mountaineer,long story short now i have t-maxx 2.5 and this is what were doing to the mountaineer.

Early '80's.... a pair of Nitro 2wd, 1/8th scale Kyosho Buggies........still got 'em.....I'll get some pics sometime this week.....might even upgrade the AM radios and fire those puppies up too!

my first real rc was a traxxas nitro stampede i bought of a freind for like 40 it was brand new and he couldnt figure out how to get it running all it needed was the needles leaned out. then i got a xxx-nt about 4 months ago and now i have a revo 2.5r

XTM Mammoth ST was my first nitro powered RC, and it's the only RC vehicle that I have up to date. I also have my dad's old electric Tamiya from the 80's, both vehicles are great! [8D]

Wow this is an old post and I sure feel old too because my first nitro was a COX dune buggy with a .049 engine (quite the change from my picco .26 max). Had that car in 1971 and don't know what ever became of it but I know as a 10 year old kid I loved it dearly. It only ran for a very short time because it broke easily and no internet then and couldn't get parts back then so I spoze I junked it. Sure wish I had it now... they bring up to $500 now in mint shape with the box.

About 1985 I had a Sears Nikko Lobo II. I had a red one and my buddy had a blue one. Wish I woulda hung on to it.

my first one was a radio shack jobby it was an electric 4x4 but it was cool though cause it had a bright yellow 1979 ford body on it. then i got a tyco eliminator or some kind of crap like that but it never broke cause well a person didn't dare jump it higher then 2 inches. then got out of it for a long time and some guys at work were talking bout their trucks a few years back. well i bought a 2004 ford truck and i decided it would be cool to get a gas powered truck and get the body just like my truck and paint it the same so i got a t-maxx a year and a half ago. well lots of swearwords later i decided to part with the t-maxx now i have a savage .25 and a revo os.18tm.

A few years ago I got Traxxas Stampede.But it was to slow.[&o]So i put a 6 turn motor and a novak speed control in it.I use to race and beat T-Maxx's cause of the insane acceleration.[>:]But had to get rid of it to buy a faster car. A 1:1 scale 06 Infinit G35,the top speeds alittle higher

Old cox dunebuggy that was originally my older brothers. I made it rc with an old heath kit radio. This must have been 1977 or so.

Me two but mine was a Cox VW Bug and I believe it was around 1970. I know I got my Heat (ki) when they first became available (1968(?))not sure.

I'm a nOOb, I got my 1st truck 2 years ago, a TMAXX, the day after that I got my 2nd TMAXX. A week after that I got my 1st EMAXX and a week after that my 2nd EMAXX. Since then my siggy says it all.

This really is not a R/C car but it was a Cox Sandblaster ! It ran on cox glow fuel And Had a cog two of them to either make it go around in a circle or a figure eight pattern.Was my best xmas ever.I loved that car but it caught fire and burned up!I saw them on ebay and was trying pk-up one just to have! Just thought I would share this.[8D]

first real RC was a Stampede KIT. bought it in like 95 or so (shortly after they came out), immediately installed bearings during the build, and I had it until late 2004. I really wish I wouldn't have sold it...guy offered money, and i took it[:@]
