I am trying to make a decision on a 22x8 or 22x10.
I like the speed of hte 10 and the pull of the 8.
What are you guys using between the two?
You gotta decide for yourself which is most important to you. Weight and drag is the big factor. If your aircraft is light enough, you can go with a 22x10. With my big draggy 24 lb Gee Bee, I use a 22x8. I love the way that it scoots down the runway on takeoff, and acceleration is important to me when I'm touching up the throttle on final. Instantaneous thrust is not only important to me, it's a safety factor !
