Here's a map to a place a couple miles past the flying site.

Here are directions from I-64 Watch for the yellow signs

Take I-64 west of Louisville to exit 123 in New Albany, IN. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Pass through 2 stop lights. At the stop sign turn right (south) on Main St. (Indiana State Road 111). Indiana SR 111 will split to a "Y." At the split bear left and proceed across the railroad crossing. Go past power plant on left and turn left on first road (Old River Rd.) SIRCM flying site is approximately 2 miles ahead.

For I-64 East Take exit 123. Go straight to stop light , turn right on Main St. (Indiana State Road 111). Indiana SR 111 will split to a "Y." At the split bear left and proceed across the railroad crossing. Go past power plant on left and turn left on first road (Old River Rd.) SIRCM flying site is approximately 2 miles ahead.

Thanks dadsdesign, I'll mark my calender. I'll also add that we are having a fly-in at Green River Lake State Park (Taylor Co. KY.)June 5-6. Hopefully some Bros will show for that. We missed the deadline in the AMA contest calender.

I have never heard a Bro make fun of another Bro's flyin skills...We can find to many other things to make fun of you about...

Except capthis
KMA!! You know what that means??? here's a hint! Kiss My A__!

I'll be there and will bring many profiles! And one big plane!
Now Jeff needs to get busy and make sure the wind is less than 5 mph all weekend!

BBQ, sounds good to me. I am going to try to be able to stay all weekend, but I may only get to come on Sat. []

Greenriver, I was wondering if you were still on earth. You have been scarce lately. Sorry, but I had better go to the crusade that weekend in Louisville or they may get me for missing it again.
Scotty BBQ in Louisville may be the one to do it. I still need to confirm a few things before it is final. But any problems and we will all meet at a restaurant for a banquet or similar.

I need to address the alcohol thing now guys. THERE WILL BE NO DRINKING AND FLYING (PERIOD). You may drink at the field when you are done flying. But we are in very strict adherence with the AMA policy on drinking and flying or any other substance and flying. Let it be known now it will be a zero tolerance policy on this issue. If the bottle(s) come out (and like I said that is fine) but the TX goes to bed for the night. Please do not put me in an awkward situation, I appreciate your cooperation.

I finalized flyer will be going out middle of this week as we confirm the final sponsors list.

If anyone needs any help/information please email me at [email protected] or my phone numbers are on page 1 of this thread.
Thanks, Jeff Williams

Add one more to the prize list, it is Dads Designs with the donation of lots of graphix. They will be formatted to pro bros and he will be there with a graphix cutter to do onsight work.
I need to finalize the list because the donations are out the ying yang. I guarantee everyone will go home with something more than you brought, and I hope that does not include your plane in pieces.

Bryan, you know he calls you "Crashthat" but ask him why I dont let him fly any of my stuff anymore. And if your considering letting him fly any of your big stuff then you are in need of a brain scan

Green River, glad to hear you might come up. Of course I will be there, I am the CD.
Got a great box from Dubro today, lots of goodies to give away. Yes, most of the Dubro stuff is given, not raffled, away. We will raffle:
OMP 65" Yak
EF edge
Morris Sledge and arf of your choice (yes they are coming, top cap knife sudo)
Williams RC foamy E Sledge, yak, cap extra and some plans, Magic extra arf
Hobby Lobby Christen Eagle electric
Paul Swanson Burrito and taco
OS 46 AX
Cooper fuel
Airbrush job from Gary Carver
Dads Designs graphix
I am fogetting some stuff too. I am guessing we are close to $1500 or more right now and we still need to hear from a couple vendors.
Get those hotel rooms too.

Pretty neet Wild Fred! You could have flown that at the Mint Julep. I'll stick up a picture of my new machine later on.
