RE: Crash Stories
Ok, me and a buddy are out at a local bmx track. Him with his tmaxx me with my axis. he also brought his rustler as a back up. Anyway, I trash my axis off one of the table tops, he is right behind me and for whatever reason hits his brakes in mid air. Thing lands right on it's back and breaks the shock tower and gas tank. So he gets out his rustler. Now, his idea with the rustler is to go as big as possible and **** what breaks lmao, very funny actually. Anyway, he goes allllllllll the way back to the starting blocks on the front str8. Nails the throttle and comes fish tailing down the straight. We are standing on the lip of this HUGE table top watchin the truck as it slowly drifts to the left from lack of traction( we are off to the left). Determined to save it he keeps it full throttle and it hits the jump all cock eyed, I know that the truck is coming to the left, he knows it's coming to the left, so what does he do?!? starts walking "out of the way" to the left, truck leaves the ramp and slams into his ribs doin about 50. You have never seen someone laugh so hard as I was that day, all I hear is **** what the **** god**** i'm a dumb*** lmmfao. Meanwhile I notice that the truck is full throttle with the muffler hangin off and the steering goin nuts back and forth back and forth. We go runnin it down and finally catch it about half a block away. Anyway, picture that. Was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuny .

RE: Crash Stories
Went to the same track today. Me and a buddy with an LST, and a Rustler. I did a few jumps over a lil table-top and was landing great, there was a little kick jump in the middle in the grass, came flyin across the track and did a couple of back-flips, by now I'm feeling pretty good about the day, went over where the track is built up in a turn. It goes about 12 feet up with the perfect angle to launch my revo in the air. Was gettin about 25-30 ft of air and comin straight back down and landing. Did this a few times and felt even better lol. I jumped once and the ass end started comin around, so I decided why not? Came flying across the track, hit the ramp, kept the throttle wide open, sloooooooooooooooooooooooowly started to come around, came about half-way, thought went through my mind, I'm not gonna make it, held it full throttle till the very end to make it around, had to hold it so long that when it landed, (on all four wheels, which amazed me alone) the wheels were going full throttle and the truck was literally 0 mph. That's how straight up and down this thing was gettin, hit the throttle, nothing. Tore the tranny up. I have to tear it apart now so I will be back later with the diagnosis and hopefully some pics.

RE: Crash Stories
OUCH!
Heres another story, happened today.
We got a TON of rain today, cant say how much, but my backyard was a mess already (dirt piles & holes everywhere) now, theres lake sized puddles. I took my T-Maxx out (with mach .26) and was cruisin around, when my buddy's little mini t got stuck and he needed help. His truck was literally buried in mud, he had gone to go off of a jump, and landed in a HUGE mud pit. we couldnt get it out because it was stuck under some really thick mud (bank caved in on it), but what we did notice is the antenna sticking out. We tied his antenna to the back of my maxx, and suprisingly pulled it out!
Then i tried to jump on the roof of my house * blew a stock shock to pieces. Time for the integy piggybacks!

RE: Crash Stories
I was racing a savage .25, I was behind because I had to make a steering correction. Was catching him when I had to dodge my 4x4, didn't make it. Rear wheel of maxx connected with rear wheel of 4x4, ripped ass end of maxx off. Bulk heads, skid plate, fuel tank, arm pins bent, header crushed. Waitin for parts, going to do some mods, sick of stock setup always bustin the fuel tank. Goin to try the ofna 9.5 tank setup and moving things around on the chassis.

RE: Crash Stories
lol nice afterburn
Jumped my revo off of the house again today, nothing broken again.
I WANT TO BREAK THE DANG THING!
Tried it with my sportmaxx..... Eish... not good.
Sportmaxx update--- entire front end snapped off, bent the chassis like a taco, need a new trx 2.5 transmission (got smashed into the servo and sent the rod right through the tranny case, smashing a gear or two) and 3 broken RPM a-arms. What a mess.

RE: Crash Stories
the house across from mine was empty and i had a skateboard ramp and my t-maxx and i was jumping it across the road and when i was turning for another pass a car was coming and i jumped at an angle heres where the crash comes in i nailed the throttle and it went into my dads F-150. lets just say i was really luck that my B-day was the next day. and that my LHS had a raffle for a new chassis the same day as my B-day. Here is the lowdown of the crash shattered shock tower i just found the body posts yesterday. when i went to pick the truck up the front end fell forwards compleatly of the chassis the chassis was twisted bulkheads destroyed i put it all back together again and it is up and running that damage was before i switched to the 2.5 i was still running the .15 os. that is pretty bad then i busted out the XXX-nt and stuck to the road.
When i brought the truck in and said how much it would be to fix it the owner laughed then said that it would be better to buy another truck.
