Dewey your butt better be at Clinton. Besides i'm going with out a motor (well i lied, i going with toby's extra DA), I had starting problems like you did last year. And the practice "thing" a little hint: it is all relative, if you believe it you can fly it.

See you all at Clinton!

Dewey - get your A to clinton! Briing Andrew with you. Wayne was talking smack about you. You need to show him how to fly unlimited w/ that QQ Y.

If you go I get to call your freestyle and you can call mine. We both have to make it up on the fly - no practice and prep!

Hey I know wayne has been flying, and practicing alot. for me I haven't even flown the sequence Once. I don't roll like that. when i flew the last time I didn't even know what direction I should be going. I need to know what my plane is going to be doing. and I'm not getting that with it snowing. I will try tomorrow and monday to see if things are better.
Drew my freestlye will be maybe alittle better this year. I have alot more to offer.. and thats a 3 of8.. lol.... dewey

The 3 of 8! That is the hardest and most dangerous maneuver known to man. If you pull it off, can you please send me a video and your autograph. I have only seen one person preform this glorious maneuver, it was so beautiful that i almost cried.

Thanks mark
it was nice meeting and chatting with you. that plane should be great . I can't wait to see one of the 100cc planes fly.How did it look when you took it all out? lunch was fun and hope we can do it again sometime and somewhere, Wayne and quique are great people to talk to ,and get to know.. I have known Wayne since I was a youngster. The 102 is a great deal and it only takes a fraction of the time to put the plane together compared to my 37% YAK.. Quique say's the 102 flies as good as the 37% plane so you should have a great plane to have fun with.
Geffon
I had to work last week so I didn't get to get to the field, but maybe next week . I did go to El Paso and got to fly foamies in a huge building. 60 foot ceilings and about 80 yards long. it was a great time.I know the sequence has a roller . but I really can't wait for a unknown that requires a inside, outside, inside, outside. Plus all my snaps aren't nice and crisp yet.. it is timing and practice, and I don't have that.
Drew I may need you to call my freestlye again. I bet you never did it like that before.LOL ( try a waterfall, "ok" not do some rolls "ok". can you hover " no " ok well how about a loop "ok" lol anyways we will see what comes this weekend.. dewey

The key to the 3 or 8 is the finish. The maneuver should be called the 3 of 8 J.S.Y.P... (Judges $h.t your pants). Now, Dewey if you do the 3of8 with a JSYP finish, I want your autograph! I'm not sure if you'll ever be able to fly at another contest (like other performers of the 3 of 8 JSYP) but it would be funny!

Hey Dewey, It's supposed to be nicer sometime this week, we'll have to go out and fly together. I've got my edge flying good, now if the motor only ran as good as the plane flys i'd be all set. A couple of weeks ago my motor quit in the middle of a hover. Luckily, I was close enough to the ground that it only pancaked the gear. Other than that no real damage. I just started covering my extra 260 it's starting to look like a plane. It should be done in the next 3 to 4 weeks. Talk to you soon. Stacy

looks the same.......the aerobatics are a given.. it just like a player piano.. it plays itself.. not real flying involved now thats whats boring..my glider has no dihedral ,, has ailerons rudder full house can do all the same aerobatics rolls etc....with the motor off..and can 3 d hover and harrier by simply advancing the throttle and unfolding the 18" prop. which is hardly ever used....yes it even does touch and goes and knife edge flight..its an electric fox..So you power guys need to educate yourself before claiming gliders are boring.. power is whats boring .. its always the same..

Gliderworld thanks for some future insight on glider flying. I'll be looking forward in trying glider flying soon.
Wayne I did make two flights today with the new batteries, and it makes a big difference . but I still can't fly the sequence all that well. Plus it is louder than I wanted it to be.. I really like quiet airplanes. I need to do some throw changes for my snaps, and rollers but things are looking up. One thing I like about the yak and the three blade prop is that it is pretty slow on the downlines, it lets me think alittle longer. right before I dumb thumb it.. hehehe ..

Ryan I just bought some troybuilt Li-ION 4700 packs. they are nice batteries and I can't believe how light these batteries are compared to Nimh. Ryan you have to have some stick time at the nall with it.

HA HA!!! Playah!!!! Glad to see that it went well!! Get rid of that CF spinner, and get a Tru-Turn. You'll be able to move some weight back towards the cockpit area.

Dewey, my Tx still aint back from JR yet... ``

I finally looked at the sequence last nite for the first time!!! Looks easy up til you get to that outside loop with 1 1/2 POS then 1 1/2 Neg on top. Rest looks like cake!!!!

Later!!!

Chris~
