You should have said RC cars, the 1/5's would have a much better chance of pulling a vehicle then most nitros. Electrics have ALOT of torque too.

Send it in to MYTHBUSTERS. No you can't pull a real car with 20 rc cars.
Yea but it all depends on the car u are pulling...

So figure 20 rc cars with about 1hp each. As long as you could figure out a way to make enough traction and rig up some insanely low gearing....i don't see why 20 horsies couldn't pull a full size car.

RE: Do u think this is true
I would suggest that if the real car was not in gear and no brakes on etc then yes 20 RC cars could pull a real car (assuming smooth surface). How many have tried to move a real car by hand with the conditions mentioned above? Its surprisingly easy. However if the argument involved the real car pulling against the RC cars then I would say the RC cars would have no hope.
Edit: I noticed that people are quoting power figures. This means nothing as it is very difficult to convert all an RC cars power to pulling force. My Friends MBX-5 has about 2.5hp and I can easily hold it back with one hand at WOT. All that happens is the wheels spin like crazy. The fact that the wheels are spinning means energy is being wasted and not converted to pulling force.
Also the 2.5hp figure quoted would be with the engine at WOT and about 30,000RPM.

Thats what im trying to say this whole time the real car is turned of with no brakes and is not in gear ...NOW can the real car be moved in a certin distance .. and how many cars should we need just to move it lets say 5 feet .. thats what im trying to say ! ![sm=thumbup.gif]
