Looks like the STERLING ukie kit.
I'd say that if there are two wires hooked to a bellcrank, then it's definitely a STERLING kit!
I have the Mulligan and the Monocoupe kits, NIB from my preteen years, LOL. Always wanted to scale them up to RC...

My point is, the original plans have a ton of detail that can be updated and IMPROVED upon. Materials and adhesives have come light years from when these planes were kitted!
My 1st suggestion would be to incorporate the wing center section into the top of the cabin and use aluminum wing tubes to join the TWO wing halves! A one piece wing at this size is more a surfboard to transport than a model wing, lol.
The whole point being to make this as fun to fly as to dis-assemble and transport. Mine was an absolute bear...and HEAVY too. Choose your wood carefully, looking for density that compliments its usage and placement.
Balsa USA and Lone Star Balsa are the only places I know that have select grades to choose from. I'm sure there are lots others, tho.
The wheel pants are fairly common shape and should be available from suppliers. The cowling can be made from all balsa but again, Fiberglass Specialties should have a replacement.
I have two rolled sets of plans and I've been messin' with them for over 3 years, attempting to re-invent the wheel, lol
Carbon fiber, fiberglass and epoxy sheeting are all candidates for building a lighter, more agile flyer.
I'm just sayin'
