Great truck BCKoots, but I don't really like the roll cage. It doesn't really go with the purple exhaust and it must be really hard to perform maintenance tasks and repairs.
But hey, everyone has different tastes and opinions.

I heard you cant use the X roll cage with LCG. This is the email I got from Innovative RC.
Will the Black Anodized Standard LCG TVP Kit fit the Savage X
All of our LCG tvps will fit onto the X truck and X parts with no problem at all, the only part that will not fit right now is the X roll bar and roll cage, but our 3mm roll bar, (also sold in black) or any standard & after market roll bar designed for the stock savage (NON X
savage) will fit onto our TVPs.
What do you think, does the X roll cage fit with chronics LCG TVPs? I presume so.

It works fine with all of my TVPs. I can't really figure out why it wouldn't... it bolts to the top two transmission bolts on each side. The only thing that would keep the main hoop from bolting on is the profile of the TVP at the top. You have to cut a tiny bit off of the rollbar mounting pad with a utility knife to bolt them up correctly, but it fits mine. Of course the rear of the bar is a little higher than before, but it doesn't look bad at all. If I remember when I get home I'll post a pic of it.
It would probably fit their TVPs too with the same modification, but I'm sure they see selling one of their rollbars as the better alternative.

I just had another look at thier website, and it says there is a 6mm overall extention on the standard ones! Heres the text. It says this is due to the angle of the dogbones.
TVP Specs are:
12mm lowered on Engine & Gearbox.
6mm overall extension (3mm front and back) due to drop in angel of dog bones. but still uses stock dog bones front and back.
Extra clearance for bigger flywheels.
Countersunk the two screw holes hidden by roll bar due to lowering, so no drilling or modding roll bar or TVPs after buying them. Also two taped M3 screw holes for roll bar screws for that extra needed solid fixing of roll bar when bashing.
