Malcolm,
Thanks for the speedy reply! I'm still looking for wing area and wheel sizes.

Dave
Would really like to know the wing area and wheel size please.

I have gone for the grey, black and red version. I am going to spray the blue canopy silver and add some "Jolly Rogers" decals I have spare to give it a more military look.

I will be using 66mm Intairco mains and 50mm nosewheel, I think you could use 75mm mains without any problem. I will work out the wing area for you as soon as I get my kit. I don't think Malcolm has any yet, the shots he posted are from the factory. Here are the other colour schemes.

Thanks John!
50mm nose seems way to small for reliable grass field operations. The 75mm mains I like! Thanks for the help!

Is it possible to get a clear canopy? A jet looks so much better with a pilot under a canopy.

AD did eventually produce a clear canopy for the Phoenix so I should imagine they will do one for the Scorpion.

In the meantime here is how I am going to dress mine up.

Has anyone seen a video of one flying yet? If it's available - where? A video is worth ten-thousand words and maybe a sold out first shipment.

Photos may be a while, the box was shipped on Wednesday but, according to the tracker number, it is still sitting in the post office at Milly Le Foret! I don't think the French state companies share our sense of urgency, Fedex shipped my 14MZ from Belgium to Scotland in 24 hours.

Yepp, shame 'bout that, I must admit I always try to get stuff sent by one of the major shipping companies, (UPS, etc.). I often send and receive stuff from Mexico via. UPS and it's never more than 2 days max.

Patience is a virtue ehhh

Hello all

This is a video of Segio Testa´s Scorpion at the annual Fly Inn wich this year was held in the city of Valencia, Venezuela.

You can pretty much see it´s performance at low and high speeds. I believe it was pushed by a Ram 750. Take into consideration that it was a very hot day. The video was filmed by a local flyer and just found it in youtube.

im impressed as well ... if the plane is built nice and strong, sure makes a good looking alternative to someihtng like a bob cat ... the center line mounted engines sure would make for better manouvering pattern style manouvers ...

i like the looks of this plane too ..
