RE: RS4 3 evo engine problems.
Well you see when the engine got stuck and when I started to take it a part I put in pot with boiling water and cleaned it out, but I don't know if you can see on the piston it is all black and Grey and all sow in the engine case and I don't know if that is normal or what and if it is then why wouldn't the engine start after I had cleaned it?

you put it in boiling water? i dont want to insut you but that was stupid, the bearings are all steel, they rust easily, that is what after run oil is for, also the crank is solid steel, it will also rust

RE: RS4 3 evo engine problems.
My bad!! You see I e-mailed HPI support and asked them how to clean my engine, they said I can put it into a pot of boiling water only if I take the bearings out and the piston sleeve, crankshaft, and that is what I did and it has been no more than a month since I did that and there is no sign of rust. But I have finally got my engine together again but there is a new problem the engine wont start and I have checked everything like the glow plug, fuel, glow plug igniter.e.g.

oh...well as long as the bearings and crank aer out you are ok, i thought you meant to just threw the whole engine in there, and i'll say the same thing as i do to everyone else, seal the engine up around the carb and backplate with rtv silicone, get a hotter plug and fully charger your igniter, it should start then, if not, your needles are way off, try cealning down in the carb too with some nitro spray to clean the needles

I'm not that stupid. I have checked every thing and every thing is sealed up, but my next task is to check where the fuel line connects with the carburetter where you adjust the lean's or richen's of the engine fuel flow could that be the problem or is it just the needles that need to be adjusted and if it is then what needles must I adjust?

RE: RS4 3 evo engine problems.
why don't you just take it to your local Hobie shop for a "tuneup" and see if they can turn it on? is that so expensive? just a comment since you have been trying to turn it on and no luck x_x
if you remove the air filter you should be able to see if the fuel goes in the carburetor ( if that what you want to check ) remoce the fuel line from the carburetor and pump it test if ur tank is pumping fuel to it
sorry yeah noob tips to say maybe apollo has something better to help you
laterz

reset to factoy settings then lean the hsn 1/4 and the lsn 1/8 of a turn, that usually gets engines to start a little easier
dont take the air filter off to see if fuel is going in, in fact when you prime it, you dont even needle fuel to go down the carb, you just need to bring fuel to it and let it draw what it needs

RE: RS4 3 evo engine problems.
I will try to set it to factory settings and if that does not work then I will take to my hobbies shop and see what he says. I'm sher it is a little problem and is easy to fix I hope I don't have buy new parts for the car because I have bought so many spur gears for my car because it keeps on stripping them but let me get back to the point, I will try and do all the things you told me and see if it will work if not then TO THE HOBBIES SHOP.
