The fact is that the only ones at risk are the merchants(sellers). Anyone using a credit card for purchase is not at risk for anything. You are not responsible for fraudulent charges, and you would never have to pay for something you did not recieve or was not "as described".

As for your choice of bashers, I have owned both Traxxass trucks you mentioned, but not the last one you mentioned. Needless to say, my Traxxas trucks are on the bench BROKEN because they where not built to bash. Bent and broken motor mounts and shock shafts on the Revo 3.3 and broken arms and bulkheads on the t-maxx.

Lay off the kid. he came here looking for advice about trucks, and your badgering him about internet purchases. the way your going on, I'm beginning to wonder why the hard sell? you remind me of a salesman that just won't take no for an answer, and those salesmen make me suspicious.

I am not trying to make a sale. I just want to clear up misinformation about online purchases. He made a profound statement that online purchasing carries a "High Risk". Every paid banner in this forum is from an online seller. The buyer is not at risk, only the seller. Its that simple.

I know it seems as if your looking for a nitro truck and if thats the case I would go for the Havok. But imo the best jumping truck I have is my stampede the thing is light and durable and as all I do with it is jump. It is also cheap, you would not be dissapointed.

Even though the Stampede is electric, it has brought countless new people into the hobby. It is a tough little truck, and you do get alot for the money. Do you remember the Nitro stampede? That was also fun.

Both will do what you ask, but the Revo will take to the track better, and the T-maxx may break less.

tmaxx 3.3 aint as bad as these guys make it out to be at all i drive it and jump it all the time and only broke 1 bottom A arm in the 9 months iv had it and only because of radio interference i have rolled it and even gone full speed into a brick wall and nothing broke (which was a suprise) i had just upgraded to RPM a arms and bumper so i think thast what saved me but anyway the tmaxx3.3 might be outdated or w/e yall call it but its still a very good truck and you can get TONS! of upgrades to make it as good as any other truck so w/e you decide let us know.

the 1/8 buggies are going to fly the farthest by far. They aren't quite as durable as the monster trucks but they fly like missles through the air and are awesome to watch

I race 1/8. Buggies are purpose built for competition on a closed course and require a backside to
large jumps. They are not meant for high altitude flat-landing. Nothing touches them on a track, but there is a huge difference between major air on a table-top and major air with a flat landing.

You need the ground clearance and shock travel of a truck to absorb flat landings.

ill probably go with the revo 3.3 because i know you can buy hop-ups for it at hobby habit and it has the newer design and because it would handle better on and off the track

I recommend the Revo, it's got the most suspension travel in the monster truck class and is very durable. I've run almost 3 gallons through mine and it's been cartwheeled, flipped, skidded, bashed, beat, slammed, and pretty much hammered on. Oh yea and drowned in a local pond from jumping off a roof. Only thing I've had problem with is losing body clips but i got a solution for that now. you should see the body on my truck it looks like it's been through a war. With the enclosed compartments for servo's and radio gear it's one of my top picks. Only thing is they are a little Front heavy when you get off the throttle in a jump, so keep squeezin. I've seen video of some of the other trucks they look like they could hold some bashing but trust me put a little heaver shock oil in and it absorbs everything.... you'd be lucky to bottom it out.

i have a revo 2.5r and it has a second gear as does the 3.3. i havent really experienced with wheelys yet but it will ride a wheely as long as you can control it

The revo's suspension is not designed for big jumps so that is ruled out.
that is total B.S. obviously he has never seen the video of the revo pulling a 100 foot backflip and landing it on concrete with no landing ramp.[>:][sm=48_48.gif]

what about if the car bottoms out because ive had a look at the car from underneath and the chassis isnt one piece of metal its sort of structured and there isnt much metal. also does the revo 3.3 have a center differential?

The Revo is very adjustable out of the box.

You can lift it,drop stiffen or soften it quite a bit with factory parts.

I dropped mine and added blue springs an some heavy shock oil, she's pretty damn tight imo.

Peace

I cave completely "destroyed" my Savage without a single broken part- cartwheels, end over end, asphalt crashes, you name it. Of course it does have a bunch of aluminum on it, but still the thing is indestructible.

Umm, the chassis slaps the ground and it keeps on going... The shock towers and shocks can take the damage easy too...
