And don't forget to make sure your tuned pipe settings are correct too, may be just "off the pipe" when it is bogging down. Plenty to play with to get it right.

This is the fun of it. At least - I enjoy it.

Yep its fun! So basically try the pipe on different spots and see what works out best? The further back less RPM's right?

Ok everyone I'm back again but my GPS failed today so no new speeds I hit the same mark of 43.9 mph and after that the GPS turned itself off. The batteries are new so I dont know whats wrong also the save mode is turned off any ideas? I'm doing my maintenance right now and the spark plug is on the lean side (white tip) but the boat was running trouble free.

Ok everyone I just got back from my favorite pond and today the boat ran awesome.Thanks for all the good tips everyone.

gettin closer to 50 i see. with the increase in speed how are the hull settings? looks liek it rides pretty good in the water now

Thanks for the reply. It handled pretty good. I was on and off the throttle but it ran very stable.

Hello again everyone I just tried my new prop Octura 482 and lost almost 10mph. Any Ideas? I think this prop was too big the boat.
