RE: The Official - Tamiya F103GT - Racing Thread
I have been thinking of modding the servo saver to run ball studs on it.
I also thought about running 31mm tires in the rear, expect I havent found a tread pattern I like yet. I can't seem to find the X pattern in 31mm from HPI.
Can anyone tell me what I need to connect the wire on my cooling fan too? Should I be connecting them to the channel 3 in my receiver, or the batter slot or what?

Also notice in thouse paint job, they are a pretty simple scheme. The have really good sticker layout and lots of thought went into it. They all look great though.

RE: The Official - Tamiya F103GT - Racing Thread
nice courages there, i'll post some pix of my GT with its shells when i have a chance, and find my digi-cam,
i race my GT, and i have-to say AMAZING chassis,
although i noticed something, With my Toyota GT-one shell, it was staying planted to the floor through turns,
then on saturday when i put my courage shell on, the back end was bouncing about all over the place, and as a result i came 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd
hey guys, is there any way to make a quick release battery holder for the F103GT?

I would love to seem some pix of your F103GT.
I was thinking the same thing about the battery holder, because I actually broke one of the "d" parts (the part you clip the battery in) and had to order new parts. Since my old parts are broken I'll see what I can rig with those.

Thats because the Toyota GT one shell has a lot of downforce. People where I race look down on wedge shells and ask that I not race them. My solution was to add a ABC Diffuser and a big rear wing to help generate more down force! HAH!

What post location are you using? The courage standard F103GT or the post relocation kit?
Personally I don't like the post relocation kit, because it doesn't allow you to run a heatsink on your motor, or allow you to change your motor easily.

I have the relo kit and heatsink... you just need a low profile heatsink..
