It's a nice plane Dick. Things are exactly like you said. In your thin air you need the same weight to thrust ratio. In order to get that thrust you need to spool up the props or use bigger ones. These load the engine too much, and you will have no spare power to accelerate the prop. That way you quickly run out of options.
